| What does the programme include:
I) Exercises:
Strengthening & Stretching to relieve discomforts of pregnancy
like backache, cramps, sciatica, breathlessness etc.
Exercises help to reduce the chances
of developing high blood pressure and gestational diabetes
in pregnancy.
Exercises can shorten the length of labour and enhance its
progression.
Exercises release the feel good hormones
in the body, thus helping to relieve - "Feeling Tired
All The Time" syndrome of pregnancy.
Exercises strengthen the muscles for
delivery and help support the loosened joints, that occur
with the hormonal changes of pregnancy.
Also specific yoga asanas are taught
for the benefit during pregnancy as well as delivery.
